On behalf of the organizing committee of the 16th International Conference on Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry in Asia (ICCEOCA-16), it is our great pleasure to extend our warm welcome to you for joining this conference, which will be held at National University of Singapore during December 1-4, 2023.
The ICCEOCA-16 is a continuation of annual conferences held in the member countries/regions of Asian Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry Promotion Network (ACP) on a rotating basis. The ACP Program has flourished since its inaugural conference (ICCEOCA-1) in 2006 in Okinawa, Japan. Over the years, the annual conferences have been recognized as one of the most important conferences in organic chemistry and related fields in the Asian region. This strong tradition had to be put on hold after 2019 due to the pandemic and resumed in July 2022 with a virtual conference organized by Hong Kong. This December, we are excited to host the 16th conference of its series exclusively in person in Singapore.
During ICCEOCA-16, we are expecting around 180 researchers from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore to exchange their cutting-edge research in the field of organic chemistry. The conference is also open for other researchers with or without a poster presentation from both academia and industry. We are honored to have you with us to participate in the ICCEOCA-16 which not only provides a wonderful forum to introduce the most recent advances in organic chemistry research but also offers an excellent opportunity of networking for future research collaborations with leading chemists in Asia. The four-day program will feature invited lectures, poster presentations with one-minute oral presentation for each poster and social activities in popular sights in Singapore.
We would like to thank all local committee members and international coordinators who have been actively involved in making this conference a reality. Special thanks go to National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore National Institute of Chemistry and our local industry for the strong support.
